Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingrédients pour 4 personnes

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Préparation : 20 minutes - Cuisson : 35 minutes
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff the bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, sprinkle additional cheese on top, and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
