Ingrédients pour 4 personnes

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Préparation : 25 minutes - Cuisson : 20 minutes - Repos : 1 heure 30 minutes
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yeast mixture, sugar, butter, salt, and eggs.
  3. Add flour and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 6-8 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a 16x21 inch rectangle.
  7. Spread softened butter over the dough.
  8. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the buttered dough.
  9. Roll up the dough and cut into 12 rolls.
  10. Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  11. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  12. Bake the rolls for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  14. Spread the frosting over the warm cinnamon rolls. Enjoy!
